It is well known that New Delhi is the city of opportunities for the youth. I was from a small town and it was not easy for me to adjust and adopt the different trends of the city. Firstly it become tough for me to communicate with variety of the people and to understand their opinion about various issues as if you are from a small town, you can also agree with my point that we have so many things in common but still there is huge difference between the thinking process of small town people and metro cities people.

I was so excited to grab all the opportunities and to make my dreams come true but after someday I realized that here, People are so messed-up with their basic things that they cannot see others pain. From a town I belong, I have used to see unity in people especially in bad situations like road accidents or any unfortunate moments.

I didn’t like the way people think here or maybe they have just set their mind to behave in a particular manner instead of knowing and understanding the situations. I always wanted to make small changes in the society so instead of blaming others, I took the initiative to help the people who are in need.  I feel so wonderful, when people appreciate me for being good to the people and in response I used to smile & say I belong to a place where small things matters a lot.

In this context I can relate a well said quote by Mr. Muhammad Yunus - “Things are never as complicated as they seem. It is only our arrogance that prompts us to find unnecessarily complicated answers to simple problems.” 

I think sometimes it’s really important to create a positive image in the mind of the people so that they get influenced to do something good and to make changes in the society because small things have great impact as it can make big changes in the society.
