Shivganga is a non-profit & voluntary organization working for Holistic Rural Development in Jhabua. In the last 15 years, a remarkable impact has been made in terms of Community Empowerment, Water Conservation, Social-Entrepreneurship, Vocational Training, Plantation, and Livelihood generation. To experience this unfolding change, every year hundreds of students from eminent institutes like IITs, IIMs, NITIE, TISS Mumbai, etc visit Jhabua. Shivganga has a team of social-entrepreneurs consisting of both tribal and premier grad-school youths. Shri Mahesh Sharma (President Shivganga) has been awarded Padma Shri by the President of India in 2019. Shivganga is the only social organization to win the National Water Mission Award by Jal Shakti Ministry GOI, for exemplary work in water conservation.
