Spicer India Private Limited (SIPL) is a joint venture between Dana Corporation, USA and Anand Automotive Ltd, India. It provides a range of drivetrain products which includes axle, driveshaft & drivetrain components. Spicer plants work in a 100% non-unionized environment. They employ the concept of using “knowledge workers” in a manufacturing environment – the operating engineer model. It comprises an ‘all engineers’ non-unionized workforce in all its locations. SIPL is also recognized as a Great Place To Work® for the 3rd year running by The Economic Times and the India chapter of The Great Place To Work Institute, USA (GPTW). SIPL was recognized as the 2nd Best Company in the Automotive Components Industry in 2014. In July 2016, SIPL once again won the honor of being among the Top 100 Great Places to Work in India, ranking 1st overall in the automotive components industry.
