The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Working closely with our core team. 2. Understanding the basic areas of computer science such as algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, databases, and computer networks. 3. Building low-latency, high-availability, and high-performant back-end applications using the Spring Boot framework. 4. Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability. 5. Implementing security and data protection 6. Evaluate competitive and innovative products and design approaches to identify best practices and encourage innovation 7. Designing and implementing data and file storage solutions like Postgres, S3, etc. 8. Working on performance enhancements and delivering the features on time & with high quality, as per agreed specifications 9. Work on multithreading & multiprocessing. 10. Provide troubleshooting and support for existing applications
