We are a start-up and diversifying into an International business of Shared Spaces. Our Founder has been Head of a Private Equity Fund based out of Washington DC. You will get an opportunity to contribute to a vision and an organization at its startup and inception stages. We are looking for a self motivated intern to do a study on the Economic Value Added (EVA) & Other Benefits of International Cultural Centres in India and around the world. As part of this study the intern will also study the Profitability/Sustainability of various divisions, schemes and programs of an International centre expressed in Profit per SqFt of Real estate or Net Profitability post manpower. The scope of this program can also be expanded to compare these metrics with international hubs, co working spaces, cafes & restaurants, art galleries, movie theatres, education institutions, libraries. It also entails benchmarking creative ideas of multi use spaces and best practices on space and program EVAs per sq ft!\r\n\r\nPreferably done under the supervision of a Professor of Economics.\r\n\r\nProject involves interviewing the responsible people at International Centres including:\r\n\r\nAlliance Française\r\nMax Mueler \r\nRussian Cultural Centre\r\nAuroville Based International Centres & pavilions\r\n\r\nSkills:\r\nExpert Knowledge of Economics, Preferably a Masters or PhD in Economics\r\nStudent in Real Estate Economics\r\nAdvanced Statistical Knowledge\r\nExpert at Excel\r\nExpert at Reading & Interpreting Financial Statements, Annual Reports, Balance Sheet and P&L Statements\r\nKnowledge of Design of Surveys, Interviewing Techniques. (with a Friendly and Affable Nature)\r\nKnowledge & Interest on Architecture, Interior Design & Real Esate\r\n\r\nThere will be no stipend on this project.
