Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Researching sports events, athletes, teams, and relevant topics to gather information for writing articles. 2. Writing articles, blog posts, news updates, or feature stories about various sports-related topics such as game recaps, player profiles, upcoming matches, analysis, opinion pieces, etc. 3. Reviewing and editing written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to style guidelines. 4. Collaborating with editors or supervisors to plan and pitch ideas for new content pieces or series. 5. Learning and implementing basic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to optimize written content for online visibility and reach. 6. Curating sports-related content from other sources, such as news websites, press releases, interviews, etc., and provide summaries or commentary. 7. Verifying facts, statistics, and quotes used in written content to ensure accuracy and credibility. 8. Staying updated with the latest sports news, trends, and developments to produce relevant and timely content.
