Equity research - India Markets

Hired interns would be working on the following areas: This internship is for an equity research role. Selected interns will be working directly with founders (Ex- Big 4 Transaction Advisory and Business Research professionals) on writing professional financial content. Time allocation: 50% - Research & Analysis Key focus areas: 1. Undertake deep research on specific company/ competitive and macro environment. 2. Build financial models (training provided) to assess & analyse company and industry performance. 3. Collect data for forecasting and build valuation models based on intrinsic and relative valuation approaches. Time allocation: 50% Report writing 1. Basis your analysis, draft a story to explain the numbers in article format. 2. Use of graphs and pictographic tools to present the story is important hence creativity is critical for the role. 3. Making presentations of your findings/summary. The role is sector agnostic and project deliverables will be given on weekly basis. Candidates with a learning attitude and work-ethic should apply for the role. The candidates are required to work Monday-Friday for 40 hours in a week. Skills necessary for the role will be taught in the internship, however, candidates with knowledge of basic accounting concepts (should know how to read a balance sheet), statistics (understand mean, median, standard deviation, regression – basics) is desirable though not mandatory.
