Role overview: The Nüshu Network intern is proactively engaged in the implementation of Nüshu Network’s initiatives in India and South Asia. The intern will assist the Nüshu Network Lead in organising and delivering in-person events in India. \r\n\r\n We seek diversity candidates, so women or individuals who identify as women are encouraged to apply. You may need to cover multiple time zones as needed.\r\nUnlock Impact offers a work environment that is committed to the wellbeing and support of our team members.\r\nCompensation: Rs. 4000 per month (pro rata where applicable)\r\n\r\nRole responsibilities & skills required:\r\n\r\nResponsibilities:\r\n\r\nWork closely with Nüshu Network team to organise and deliver an in-person event entrepreneur networking event (WeMeet Mumbai) in Mumbai in Oct 2024\r\nScout and finalise suitable location for networking gathering \r\nIdentify and finalise vendors for food, gifts, printing\r\nPrepare event plan, slide deck, games \r\nLiase with outreach and event partners to promote event \r\nWork with Nüshu Network Comms team to execute outreach plan to bring in at least 30 women entrepreneur attendees\r\nQualifications:\r\n\r\nHas experience in events; experience in community management a plus\r\nGood project management skills\r\nEffective oral and written communication skills; fluent in English\r\nAdept in Google Suite and Microsoft Office\r\nProficiency in Canva is highly desirable\r\nPurpose-driven and is both an independent worker and team player\r\nOpen to learning from anyone, anywhere\r\nOur commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI): JEDI are at the core of our work.
