Job Title: Internship English / Science / Math / Urdu / Hindi (Learning & Development Department) Location: Bengaluru Job Summary The primary role of this position is to proofread the documents and redraft / Edit them to create a consistent quality of language across all the content produced by the organization. The position is also responsible for developing content and drafting articles for organizational reports, social media platforms, blogs, etc. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare well-structured and articulated documents using the cursory concept notes. Re-write content by taking thoughts and ideas into well-articulated written English. Quickly grasp complex concepts in Math / Science and translate them into easily understandable documents in English. Understand the subject matter documents and redraft them to provide an easily understandable and consistent tone to the documents. Develop content for social media platforms, blogs, website, annual reports, external stakeholder communications etc. Key Skills Excellent Writing and Communication Skills, Language Quality, Writing, Editing Required Experience and Qualifications Excellent writing and communication skills Strong command over the English language; strong command over Kannada is a bonus. Mindfulness with the ability to find and correct all grammatical and/or other language quality issues in documents. The ability to work independently and think critically. Strong working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint The ability to multi-task / oversee several things at one time. A college degree, or one to two years of work experience in writing and editing.
