Software Engineer - Big Data / Hadoop, Java

This high energy Engineer must have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience 1-7 years of development experience Experience with J2EE tools, technologies, and frameworks (JSP, Java, Struts/Spring, Eclipse, Websphere RAD, Spring, Application Servers) Experience with UNIX based systems including the ability to create and maintain Shell scripts Experience in Hadoop Framework & Programming (Map-Reduce, Hive, H-base etc) is a plus. Experience in distributed performance tools Strong Experience in SQL/NoSQL Data Bases is a plus. Experience in search utilities ( i.e.SOLR, MemCached, Elastic Search etc.) Strong Performance tuning & trouble shooting capabilities is plus. Experience with web service development using REST Knowledge of web security and encryption technology is a plus Strong experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript/Ajax and Frameworks, CSS, JQuery, Angluarjs, Accessibility, and SEO is a plus Testing/automation experience is a plus Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions Deals well with ambiguous/under-defined problems; Ability to think abstractly Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation is a plus Preferred Qualifications Focuses on the Customer and Client.
