UI/UX Intern

QUALIFICATION • Minimum education - Enrolled in a college/university • Experience - 0-2 years in UI/UX designing (including internships) • A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for mobile platforms RESPONSIBILITIES • Gather and evaluate technical, business and user requirements in collaboration with product developers and management. • Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the mobile app based on the business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings. • Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis. • Producing high-quality design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, prototypes, low & high-fidelity mockups and user personas to demonstrate functioning and layout of the product, leading to intuitive user experiences. • Define user task flows and interaction models. • Strategically create new features and functionality based on user stories and behavior. • Explore various design approaches to solve specific user problems. • Ensuring that all elements of the app design and app user experience are optimized and tested for improved usability, intuitiveness, user-centeredness and exceptional visual design. • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback and adhere to style standards on typography, colors and other design elements to ensure consistent design language across the product. • Collaborating with the management and designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the mobile app user. • Staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in mobile user experience design and user interface technology and implementing the latest design innovations to ensure that the product is in accordance with the cutting-edge technology. • Implement and execute given tasks in a professional, efficient & time-bound manner • Take ownership of QC of all the assigned work SKILLS • UX research, wireframing and prototyping, interaction design, visual communication, and information architecture. • Any experience on UI / UX of mobile application projects • Proficient in design and prototyping and wireframing tools such as Illustrator/Sketch/Figma/Invision/InDesign/Wireframe.cc etc. • Highly logical and analytical approach. • Familiarity with the standards followed on the Web, Android and iOS platforms • Possess a good understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies • Proven ability to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems • Strong communication, design and creative thinking skills • A user - centric mindset to design related problem solving. • Good sense of typography, imagery, colours, composition and visual layouts • Great attention to detail and keen eye for aesthetics • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced working environment • Strong and flexible skills in UI design; additional skills in interaction design a plus NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS • UI Animations • Adobe After Effects • Motion graphics • Graphic Designing • UX Writing
